Tundla village, Ambala Cantt, is littered with garbage, stagnant water ponds in residential areas, and heaps of cow dung. Stray cattle roam around freely and the area behind the village government school is full of filth. It is sad that people have learnt to live with the stink, and contribute little to improve their surroundings. The MC authorities need to have an effective system of garbage lifting and disposal. The village people must also contribute towards cleanliness, and keep their areas neat.
