On the directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee submitted its report to the DC on noise pollution during Diljit Dosanjh’s show. Sources said that the CPCC had found that the noise levels had increased from 70 to 80 decibels during the show.

On a PIL, the HC had said that in case the noise level increased beyond 75 db(A), then the official respondents should take action against the organisers. The court sought a compliance report on December 18.
