RBI officials share info on cybercrime, financial products
Officials of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) shared the activities of the Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) established here by the bank with the assistance of Aroh Foundation. The function was organised here on Saturday. Lead Divisional Officer (LDO) from Chandigarh, Garima Bassi, informed the customers about the activities of the centre, financial products and services, good financial practices, going digital and consumer protection. Bassi also cautioned the customers about fraudsters.
The RBI has established CFL in different blocks of the district including Patti, Gandiwind, Chohla Sahib, Khadoor Sahib and Naushehra Pannuan. Kanwal Kumar Sehgal, Lead District Manager, Pardeep Kumar Prjapat, state head of Aroh Foundation, Taranjit Kaur, district coordinator, RBI, were among others who addressed the gathering and talked about the Prime Minister Surkhia Beema Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Jeewan Beema Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna, Sukanya Samridhi Yojna etc for the benefit of the customers.
