Rajasthan police take custody of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria

Rajasthan Police have taken custody of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, one of the main suspects in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
The police said Rajasthan Police have taken Jagdeep Singh, alias Jaggu Bhagwanpuria (32) of Bhagwanpura, into their custody for questioning and investigation. The gangster was taken into custody from Central Jail in Bathinda.
Dausa SP Ranjita Sharma said on June 30, the Mehandipur Balaji police arrested 19-year-old Dashanpreet Singh, alias Sardul Singh, of Amritsar near the helipad road in Balaji town. The police seized four pistols, six magazines and 18 live cartridges from him. During interrogation, he identified himself as a member of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang. He said he used to supply weapons to the gang.
As per the instructions of Inspector General of Police Anil Kumar Tank Jagdeep, he was taken into custody from Central Jail, Bathinda, on Wednesday and brought to Dausa for interrogation.
The police said over 100 cases were registered against him in different states. He was known as a habitual offender of arms and drug trafficking and attempted murder.
