Over 41 roads and 53 power distribution transformers have been disrupted following steady rains across the state since Friday. Light to moderate rain occurred at most places and heavy rain at isolated places on Saturday. The maximum number of roads have been closed in district Shimla (18), followed by 10 in Kangra district and nine in Mandi district. The highest number of distribution transformers were disrupted in Lahaul and Spiti (40).

According to the Meteorological Department, the precipitation will reduce over the next few days. No major changes in minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded over the last 24 hours, and the average maximum and minimum temperatures remained normal. The lowest minimum temperature was recorded today at Kukumseri at 7.9 degree Celsius and the highest was recorded at Una, 33.2 degree Celsius.
