Gurugram, September 2

Hot and humid conditions prevailed as light to moderate rain lashed several parts of Gurugram and other areas of the National Captial Region on Monday afternoon.

The India Metrological Department has forecast more rain in the metropolitan city in the next 24 hours.

In the evening, traffic snarls exacerbated with long queues of vehicles seen on the Sohna Road, Subash Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, Bakhtawar Chowk, outside the Huda Millennium city centre, old Delhi road and other places.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Gurugram recorded on Monday was 35°C while minimum temperature on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday was 28°C. The sky is likely to remain cloudy and light to moderate rainfall is expected at isolated places in the next few days.
