Rail overbridge to provide relief to residents of Yamunanagar village

Yamunanagar, February 20

MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora said an overbridge would be constructed on rail tracks in Pansara village near Yamunanagar. He said this while addressing a Jan Samvad programme in Ward 9 of the MC here today. With the construction of this overbridge, people of Yamunanagar and surrounding villages would get major relief, he said.

The MLA said the construction work of the road near the Nirankari Bhawan in this ward would also be started soon. He added that steps were being taken to resolve the problem of blocked sewers in the twin cities of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri.

“The government is working to provide housing to the homeless. All these works are aimed at making India a developed country,” MLA Arora said. He took stock of the stalls set up to inform about benefits of government schemes on the premises where the Jan Samvad programme was held.

During the event, the MLA listened to the problems of the residents of the area and assured them that they would be addressed. Ayushman cards of nine persons were made at the programme. BPL cards were distributed to five people and new pension cards of seven people were made.

Outgoing Mayor Madan Chauhan, district BJP president Rajesh Sapra, BJP leaders Devendra Chawla, Ram Niwas Garg, Nitin Kapoor and others were also present on the occasion.
