Will protest to get demands accepted: Fazilka Health Dept staff

The employees of the Health Department at Fazilka district have decided to participate in the zone-level rally to be held in Patiala, the home town of Punjab Health Minister, on September 26.

The unit president of Punjab Subordinate Services Federation, Fazilka, Sukhjinder Singh, and general secretary Ravinder Sharma, presided over a meeting with the employees. They said the rally was being organised to urge the state government to concede to their demands. They said their demands include regularisation of services of temporary employees, time-bound promotions of the employees, revoke the politically motivated transfers of the employees, reinstatement of the cancelled allowances and rationalisation of the pay scale.
