Who is Arshdeep Singh Dalla, Punjab gangster based in Canada
Arshdeep Singh Dala is one of the six most wanted Punjab gangster, allegedly operating out of Canada for the last five years or more.
He is a suspect in the murder of Kanishka bombing accused Ripudaman Singh Malik, who was killed in Surrey, Canada, in July 2022.
Belonging to Dala village, he was involved in gang wars, murders and extortion, before he fled Punjab in 2016 on original passport.
He had managed a police verification report in his favour. Two cops were later suspended for helping him.
Later, he conspired the murder of Sunshine garments owner in Moga beside killing a Dera Sacha Sauda follower.
Dalla is an expert in radicalisation of youth in association and was a close associate of Khalistani leader Hardeep Nijjar, who was also murdered in Canada in June, 2023.
As per Punjab Police, Dalla has links with Khalistani groups and funds money to gangsters and terror operatives in Punjab.
Moga and Faridkot Police were pursuing his extradition since 2021.
