A veterinary inspector was hit on the head with a brick in Painchawali village near Fazilka town during a dispute. He has been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Fazilka for treatment.

Victim Rajesh Chaudhary, who belongs to Turkan Wali village, said that his brother had set up a tent outside a house in the village. A pillar of the tent fell by accident and a person got slightly injured.

A dispute followed the incident. On being informed, he reached the spot so that the matter could be resolved amicably but no one there was ready to listen to him. They beat him up and injured him. He has demanded action from the police against the erring persons.
