Two occupants of a tempo were injured on Saturday after it collided with a parked canter due to heavy fog near Kallarkhera on the Abohar-Sriganganagar road.

According to reports, Angrej Singh, a resident of Muktsar, was travelling to Sriganganagar with a friend when their tempo crashed into a canter parked on the roadside near Kallarkhera. Angrej Singh and his friend Raminder were injured in the accident. Residents of the area alerted emergency services and an ambulance rushed the injured to the Abohar Civil Hospital. Due to the severity of Angrej Singh’s injuries, he was later referred to a hospital in Bathinda for further treatment. — OC
