The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) late Tuesday evening postponed the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET), scheduled for December 22. The new date is said to have been fixed on January 5 next year.

The decision was taken following a strong protest by the aspirants over the allotment of the exam centres at far-flung places. The board, however, did not clarify the change of exam centres. Meanwhile, sources said the board would again allot the centres taking into consideration the home district of the aspirants.
