Akal Takht has warned Akali leader Virsa Singh Valtoha, who has been expelled from SAD for the next 10 years, to desist from passing on adverse remarks against the Takht Jathedars.

Pronouncing the orders from the podium of Akal Takht today after five high priests’ meeting, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh declared that Valtoha would be liable to face stern action if he continued to speak against the Jathedars (particularly referring to Takht Damdam Sahib Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh).

“Despite warning, Valtoha has continuously been indulging in commenting against Singh Saheban. He has again been directed to refrain from it in future. Otherwise, stern action will be taken against him in the next five high priests meeting,” said Giani Raghbir Singh.

In the backdrop, Akal Takht had ordered “expulsion” of Valtoha from SAD while “holding him guilty of denting the credibility” of Takht Jathedar through social media. On October 15, Valtoha during his appearance before the five high priests, headed by Giani Raghbir Singh, had alleged that Giani Harpreet Singh shared allegiance with the BJP and RSS leaders. — TNS
