Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu today said SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal was suffering from selective amnesia as he had asked Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to step down over spurious liquor tragedy, which has left more than 100 people dead.

“Did you step down when sacrilege incidents took place? Did you feel ashamed when Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was forgiven for wearing a robe similar to that of Guru Gobind Singh?” asked the Health Minister.

He said Sukhbir’s visit to Tarn Taran and Muchhal village in Amritsar was an eyewash and he should stop shedding crocodile tears.
