Startup feted for solutions in medicinal plants sector
Ilika Pvt Ltd, a startup supported by the Punjab Agricultural University’s (PAU) Punjab Agri Business Incubator (PABI), garnered national recognition by winning the prestigious “Best Innovative Idea Award” at the ICAR-DMAPR Awards 2024. The award was presented during the 33rd Foundation Day celebrations of the ICAR-Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research (ICAR-DMAPR) in Anand, Gujarat.
The award recognises Ilika Pvt Ltd’s contribution to the “MAPTHON-2: Innovative Ideas for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Business Competition”. The startup was lauded for its ground-breaking solutions that aimed to revolutionise the medicinal and aromatic plant sector.
