Six people were injured when a PRTC bus collided with a truck on the Sangrur-Patiala main road at Bhawanigarh today, reportedly due to heavy fog. Among the injured was the bus conductor. The injured, including Rajpal Singh, Babli Kaur, Gurbakhash Singh, and Paramjit Kaur, were taken to the government hospital in Bhawanigarh for treatment.

The bus driver said he was travelling from Sangrur to Chandigarh when he reached Bhawanigarh. He said a truck driver was reversing his truck near Balial Cut, but there were no reflectors on the back of the truck. Due to the fog, the bus driver could not see the truck and collided with it. However, the truck driver blamed the bus driver for the accident.
