The Abohar City-1 police registered a case against six suspects following a broad daylight attack on a fast food vendor and his parents outside Patel Park in Abohar. The incident occurred when a group of youths, involved in a prior argument with the vendor, returned armed with sharp weapons and assaulted him.

The victim, identified as Sandeep Kumar, a vendor from Prem Nagar, was struck multiple times on the head. In his statement, Sandeep named the suspects as Manjit Singh of Jammu Basti, Rahul and Jatin from Kamboj Mohalla, Surjit Sujal of Prem Nagar, and two others, Mohit and Sameer. Three other attackers remain unidentified. Sandeep reported that around nine individuals ambushed him while he was near Patel Park.The assailants fled the scene on foot. The police recovered the abandoned bikes.

The police are working to identify the remaining attackers.
