Show proof of wrongdoing, Valtoha urges Giani Hapreet
A day after SAD candidate Harjinder Singh Dhami registered a splendid win to retain the coveted seat to head the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), “suspended” Akali leader Virsa Singh Valtoha today prayed at Akal Takht seeking justice.
Standing below the “faseel” of Akal Takht, he performed ardas saying “Singh Saheb” (Takht Damdama Sahib Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh) has levelled allegations against him and that he has “rest his case” in the court of “Akal Purakh” (Almighty).
He categorically questioned Giani Harpreet Singh for not revealing the “proof”, if any, that could testify his allegations on him.
Akal Takht has “ordered the expulsion” of Valtoha from the SAD while “holding him guilty of denting the credibility” of Jathedars. Giani Harpeet Singh had alleged that social media handler of SAD, at the behest of Valtoha, had sent him derogatory and threatening messages.
