Ropar, January 27
Two days after raising the issue of lack of funds for developmental works in his constituency, local MLA Amarjit Singh Sandoa (in pic) on Sunday alleged that Ropar DC Sumeet Jarangal was ignoring him.
Sandoa alleged he was not informed about the inauguration ceremony of a smart school, scheduled to be done by Cabinet Minister Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, who was chief guest at the Republic Day function.
On January 24, the MLA while speaking during a function had alleged his constituency was not receiving funds while neighbouring constituencies of Chamkaur Sahib and Anandpur Sahib faced no such issue. Sandoa said he would lodge a complaint against the DC with the Speaker and Chief Secretary. — TNS
