Rajasthan murder case cracked by Punjab cops
The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), Punjab, in a joint operation with the Mohali police, has cracked the sensational daylight murder of Subash, alias Sohu, who was shot five times in the head by two unidentified persons at Sangriya in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on October 8.
Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said here on Monday that the three weapons smugglers arrested by the AGTF on Friday had turned out to be the killers of Sohu.
Mastermind confesses to crime

- Murder mastermind Bhanu Sisodia has confessed to planning the murder as an act of revenge for an aide’s killing
They belong to the notorious gang of Pavittar Chaura, who hails from Chaura village in Gurdaspur, but is settled in the USA now.
“The revelation came following investigations and sustained follow-up of backward and forward linkages in the arrest of three Rajasthan-based weapon suppliers, identified as Bhanu Sisodia, Mohammad Asif and Anil Kumar, all residents of Balotra district in Rajasthan,” he said.
Mastermind Bhanu Sisodia had confessed to planning the murder as an act of revenge for the killing of his associate, Anil Lega, in February this year, the DGP said. Accused Mohammad Asif and Anil Kumar played key roles as handlers in executing the crime, he added.
The weapon suppliers were arrested on Friday along with accused Navjot Singh, alias Jota, while they were attempting to deliver a consignment of weapons (two pistols and eight live cartridges) in Dera Bassi. Navjot is a key operative of foreign-based handlers Pavitar (USA) and Manjinder (France). He is involved in over 20 cases of heinous crimes.
The DGP said that all four arrested persons were currently in police remand at the Dera Bassi police station and the investigation was progressing swiftly.
SSP Deepak Pareek said Rajasthan-based trio revealed that they had struck a deal with Navjot Singh Jota for either Rs 1 lakh or a safe hideout for them in Punjab in exchange for the weapons. These weapons were procured from MP by them, he added.
