Punjab posts ADGP Varinder Kumar as new Director, Bureau of Investigation; 14 SSPs transferred

ADGP Varinder Kumar is the new Director Bureau of Investigation while ADGP AS Rai is posted as the Intelligence chief of the Punjab Police in a major reshuffle of 50 officers that included changing 14 Senior Superintendents of Police.
The new SSPs and their place of posting are: Harcharan Singh Bhullar-Patiala, Sandeep Garg-Mansa, Rakesh Kaushal-Amritsar(Rural), Varun Sharma-Faridkot, Harmandeep Singh Hans-Ferozepore, Kanwardeep Kaur-Nawanshahar, Alka Meena-Barnala, Ravjot Grewal-Malerkotla, Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar-Batala, Surinderjit Singh Mand-Moga, Sarbjit Singh-Muktsar, Harwinder Singh Virk-Tarn Taran, Rajbachan Singh Sandhu-Ludhiana(Rural) and Kulwant Singh Heer-Hoshiarpur.
In other postings, ADGP Jatinder Jain heads Powercom Patiala, ADGP Arpit Shukla heads Punjab Police Welfare wing. V Neerja is ADGP-NRI, Mohinsh Chawla is IG-Border Range, SPS Parmar is IG-Ludhiana Range, Mukhwinder Singh Chhina is IG-Patiala Range, Shive Kumar Verma is IG-Law and Order, Rakesh Aggarwal is IG-counter Intelligence and Kaustubh Sharma is IG-Headquarter.
