Amargarh legislator Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra urged office-bearers of all rural bodies to ensure basic civic amenities for the residents.

Safe drinking water, solid waste management and proper sanitation were cited as the foremost priority to be fixed by sarpanches falling under Amargarh and Ahmedgarh subdivisions.

Gajjanmajra said the poorest among poor should get best civic amenities. “I believe that success of a government depends on the integrity and diligence of constituents of panchayats and municipal councils,” said Gajjanmajra, adding that all civic bodies would get adequate grants.
