The police have arrested two persons and seized about 4 kg of opium from their possession this morning. The police said the suspects have been identified as Pargat Singh of Dhimhawali village and Kamalpreet Singh alias Babbu of Puri Colony in Faridkot. The police said the truck and car that the suspects used for smuggling the narcotics have also been seized. The investigating officer in the case, Haqam Singh, said the police seized the opium and arrested the suspects near Panjgrain village on the Moga-Kotkapura state highway.
