Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring today led a protest against the BJP over its silence on Gautam Adani’s indictment in the US and Manipur violence.

Before being taken into the preventive custody outside the Congress Bhavan, the PCC chief said, “The Modi-Adani collusion is the greatest betrayal of this nation. The US indictment of Gautam Adani has revealed what India’s investigative agencies — controlled by the BJP — have deliberately hidden. This is nothing but a grand cover-up by PM Narendra Modi to protect his closest ally. We demand immediate action, including a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the scam.”

Warring said, “When no government was willing to bear high costs of solar energy, Adani approached officials in Andhra Pradesh and offered a bribe of Rs 25 lakh per MW. Similar deals followed in Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh and Jammu and Kashmir.” He said, “While Manipur burns, PM Modi and his party continue to display shocking indifference.”
