30 IAS/PCS officers have also been deputed as magistrates and incharges of various protocol duties.
The PM is also likely to visit the National Martyrs Memorial, Hussainiwala, which is situated at a stone’s throw from the Indo-Pakistan border. Three makeshifts helipads have been set up on the road leading to the memorial.
Hotels and guest houses are being checked and a hawk’s eye is being kept on any suspicious movement. The likelihood of heavy rain is keeping the security forces on tenterhooks.
