The police have arrested four persons running online trading racket in Hanumangarh’s Bhadra on Monday evening.

Superintendent of Police Arshad Ali said the accused had been identified as Kapil Sindhi, Prabhu Dayal Khatik, Sandeep Sain and Naresh Saraf.

Electronic gadgets and currency seized from their possession.

He added that police personnel seized six laptops, seven mobile phones, four keypad phones, one passbook, three ATM cards, three memory cards, three cheque books and Rs 6.71 lakh from the accused.

The Superintendent of Police said they received a tip-off that online “parchi satta” and trading was being done illegally at a house in Kayamkhani Mohalla.

He added that the people running this exchange were operating on the instructions of their Dubai-based masters.

A case has been registered against the accused under the Prevention of Gambling Act and the IT Act.
