Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today administered oath to the newly elected AAP MLAs from Chabbewal, Dera Baba Nanak and Gidderbaha Assembly constituencies. Chief Minister and Leader of the House Bhagwant Mann and AAP Punjab president and Employment Generation, Skill Development Minister Aman Arora were present on the occasion.

The newly elected Congress MLA from Barnala, Kuldeep Singh Dhillon, skipped the ceremony. He will now be administered oath in the office of the Speaker on December 4.

The oath-taking ceremony took place in Member’s Lounge of the Vidhan Sabha, where AAP’s elected candidate from Chabbewal Dr Ishank Kumar Chabbewal, Gurdeep Singh Randhawa from Dera Baba Nanak and Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon from Gidderbaha were sworn in as MLAs.

The newly-elected MLAs were accompanied by their family members and several dignitaries.

Prominent amongst others who attended the oath-taking ceremony included Finance Minister Harpal Cheema, Water Resources and Mining & Geology Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal, Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, Local Government and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr Ravjot Singh and Member Parliament Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal.
