MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa serves legal notice on Arvind Kejriwal
Gurdaspur MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has served a legal notice on AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly making defamatory statements during a public rally held at Agwan village yesterday.
The notice has been issued by the MP through his Gurdaspur-based counsel Gurmukh Singh Randhawa.
The notice reads, “On November 9, during a rally held by AAP you publicly made statements referring to my client as ‘dishonest’ and ‘corrupt.’ The statements made by you were unsubstantiated and falsely impugning upon my client’s character and integrity. By labelling him ‘dishonest and ‘corrupt’ without evidence, you have damaged my client’s reputation and caused significant harm to his standing in both the public and professional spheres. These statements, widely reported by the media and social media platforms have damaged the reputation of my client.”
