The police have arrested a man, who allegedly thrashed a woman and her daughters at a village near here recently.

One of the victims complained to the police that the accused had teased her minor sister and when she, along with her mother, went to complain to the accused’s family, he thrashed them badly.

The video of the incident went viral on social media. Raj Lali Gill, Chairperson of the Punjab State Commission for Women, had asked the police to take action in the case. — TNS
