Abohar, November 18

Health workers, serving under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) for a long time at the Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital and the Community Health Centre at Seetogunno, started an indefinite strike today, seeking regularisation of services.

They staged a dharna and raised slogans against the government and the Health Department. Doctors, health workers, ANMs and other workers serving under the NRHM kept the work stalled, due to which patients faced inconvenience. The strike affected the vaccination and Covid sampling work too.
