The main attraction was the ‘trinjana selfie point’, which provided a glimpse of the culture of Punjab-Haryana-Rajasthan. Tambola and many other games were also played for entertainment. Punjabi dhol team, open stage, Miss and Mrs Teej competitions were supported by the Unique Music Band and Aman Band.
MLA Sandeep Jakhar said that the festival of Teej reflects our values and culture. He added that the festival serves to unite families. Fortunately, women in our country, despite being tied to their homes, have time to add colour and life to festivals. Over 100 prizes were distributed through lucky draws.
