A fire broke out on Friday night at seven locations, reportedly caused by firecrackers. Fire station staff were able to control the flames quickly. Four separate fire incidents were also reported at different locations on Thursday night.

Fire Staff Officer Virender Kumar reported garbage in vacant plots in Metro Colony, Uttam Vihar Colony, New Suraj Nagari and Old Suraj Nagari ignited after firecrackers fell. He said fire tenders arrived promptly and extinguished the fires.

Another incident occurred at a scrap warehouse in Sunder Nagari. Residents noticed the flames and alerted the fire department, which dispatched fire tenders to douse the flames.

Additionally, in Dutaranwali village, stacks of Narma cotton caught fire due to sparks from firecrackers. The fire was successfully brought under control. Kumar emphasised the fires are believed to have been sparked by firecracker debris.
