FCI GRS: Food Corporation of India launches grievance redressal app for rice millers

Union Food Minister Pralhad Joshi on Monday launched a new application to address procurement related grievances of rice millers across India and specially in Punjab.

The application -- FCI GRS is available on Google Play Store for download.

This remarkable step, aligned with Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji’s Digital India vision, aims to empower our hardworking rice millers across the nation by serving as a direct bridge to FCI, enabling streamlined & transparent grievance redressal system,’ Joshi said.

He said launch of the application also underscores the government commitment to building a governance system that is truly inclusive, accountable and rooted in the needs of the citizens.

The minister has announced launching of the new app for grievance redressal of rice millers on Sunday.

Punjab has 5,500 rice millers.
