A group of farmers reached Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) today to meet farmer leader, Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is admitted here since Tuesday.

As they were not allowed to meet the leader, the farmers started protesting and sat on a dharna outside the hospital’s OPD.

To keep the situation under control, police detained two farmers from the DMCH as they were adamant on meeting Dallewal, besides raising slogans against the government.
