The Bathinda-Abohar-Sriganganagar train was held up near Bahawalbasi for three hours due to engine failure.
This is the third such incident this year, said the passengers. Many passengers were forced to hire e-rikshaws to reach the main bus stand and board buses.
Raman, a resident of Abohar, said his sister was coming to Abohar from Bathinda for a doctor’s appointment. However, she could not make it due to the snag in the engine. Another passenger Surinder said around 150 passengers commute by this train everyday to do different jobs in
Sriganganagar.
