The Enforcement Directorate has filed a prosecution complaint against Ludhiana-based travel agent Nitish Ghai for commission of offences under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Dharminder Paul Singla has fixed the next date of hearing on December 18.

In the complaint, it has been reported that the accused looted the people aspiring to migrate abroad by assuring them of providing work visa. He ran two firms in Ludhiana — Blessing Consultancy and GND Consultancy — from 2015 to 2018 even though he did not possess the required licence under the Emigration Act.
