CM Mann vows to transform Amritsar
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday campaigned in Amritsar in support of AAP candidates in the civic poll fray. He assured the residents of “AAP’s commitment to transform Amritsar into a world-class destination”.
He urged the residents to vote for AAP candidates, emphasising that local governance directly impacted the quality of life in the city.
“With an AAP-led municipal corporation, we can ensure swift resolution of Amritsar’s problems. The broom is not just a button on the voting machine; it is a symbol of hope, change and the better future of your children with clean governance and progressive policies,” he said.
He highlighted plans to revamp old markets and decongest narrow streets to restore their appeal and beautify the city by replacing overhead wires, and cleaning the polluted drains along the Amritsar-Wagah road.
