Saavni Nanda, a Class 10 student of Cambridge International School, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a spot in the Sub-Junior Yoga Nationals set to be held this December in Maharashtra. The young yoga prodigy will be part of a five-member team representing her state in the Under-17 category for the team event.

Saavni, the only girl from Jalandhar selected for this prestigious competition, has consistently excelled in yoga at various levels. Over the past five years, she has won several district and state-level titles, showcasing her talent and dedication to the sport.

Her mother Nidhi Nanda expressed immense pride and joy over her accomplishment, stating, “We are thrilled to see her years of hard work and perseverance come to fruition. This is just the beginning, and we couldn’t be more proud of her achievements,” she shared.

Speaking to the media, Saavni expressed her excitement about making it to the national level, saying, “I’m overjoyed to be selected, and it feels great to see my hard work pay off. I dream of representing India in the years to come, and I’m determined to work even harder to achieve that goal.”
