Ahead of LS poll, 165 more Aam Aadmi Clinics opened
Jalandhar, March 2
Keeping their date with the city amid rain and hail, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and state CM Bhagwant Mann today inaugurated an Aam Aadmi Clinic at the Sports College in Jalandhar, which is among the 165 new such clinics being opened across the state. With this, the total number of Aam Aadmi Clinics in the state has reached 829.
Kejriwal exhorted the people of the state to ensure all 13 LS seats for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections to strengthen CM Mann’s fight against the Centre. He said, “I’m very happy that 165 mohalla clinics are being started today. I don’t think the state has seen this level of development in the past 75 years.” He added that, “I appeal to the people to make us win all 13 seats.”
Speaking on the speculations of a SAD-BJP combine in the state, Mann said, “With what face will SAD seek votes in villages after a tie-up with the BJP. They (Akalis) praised farm laws for three months, when the farm struggle grew, they backed out. You think an alliance is going to take place, but it never broke as they just separated for some time.”
