Abohar to protest against atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh
Representatives of various religious and social organisations gathered today at Shri Sanatan Dharam Mandir to express their outrage over the atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh following the recent change of government. The meeting was presided over by Faquir Chand Goyal and Madan Lal Bhalotia.
The participants condemned the increasing attacks on the Hindu community in Bangladesh, highlighting Hindus are now being targeted, forced to convert and those who refuse are being killed. Additionally, leaders and protectors of the Hindu community are being imprisoned. The recent murder of a lawyer who advocated for oppressed Hindus has sparked widespread anger towards the Bangladesh government, prompting protests across the country to address this serious issue.
During the meeting, it was decided a protest march would be organised in the town on Monday, December 9, starting at 3.30 pm from the Gaushala premises.
