AAP fields Harinder Singh Dhaliwal from Barnala
Harinder Singh Dhaliwal (35), a close associate of Sangrur Lok Sabha MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, has been fielded by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Barnala Assembly constituency in the by-election to be held on November 13.
Dhaliwal said since joining the AAP in 2013, he has been working as a member of Meet Hayer’s team in Barnala.
Dhaliwal added that during the past over seven years, he has worked for Meet Hayer in all his elections, Assembly as well as Parliamentary.
Harinder Singh Dhaliwal had passed his Bachelor of Technology (Information Technology) degree from Swami Vivekananda Institute of Engineering and Technology (SVIET), Banur, in 2013. However, officially he has no post in the party organisation so far.
Regarding his relations with Meet Hayer, Dhaliwal said Meet Hayer and he had studied together in school and at SVIET but the basis of their true friendship is their party.
Dhaliwal added that he is happy that the party has given ticket to an ordinary worker, like me, from Barnala Assembly constituency.
The AAP candidate also said that he will work for the welfare of the people and development of the Assembly constituency in a big way, if the people give him a chance to serve them.
