Nine budding archers of Haripura village-based Shri Guru Jambheshwar DAV Senior Secondary Public School have been selected to participate in the All-India DAV Schools Sports Competitions. They are Himanshu, Harjot Kaur, Noor, Pavni, Vanshika, Garima, Isha, Harsimran Kaur and Jaspreet Singh.

School principal Sukhdev Singh said these students had participated in the DAV Sports State-Level Archery Competition held recently at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. The Haripura team won the runner-up trophy.
