60 gm heroin, 332 liquor bottles seized

The police have seized 60 gm heroin and over 300 bottles of illicit liquor in separate incidents in the district.

Officials said 50 gm heroin was seized from Ramanpreet Singh, alias Chamanpreet Singh, of Arniwala Sheikh Subhan village while he was waiting for customers outside his residence in Moti Dass Colony at Jalalabad.

Around 10 gm heroin was seized from Daljit Singh, alias Gurpreet Singh, and Joga Singh, who run a grocery shop at Rukanpura Khuikhera village, and allegedly sell drugs too.

A team from the City-2 police station seized 332 bottles of illicit liquor while searching a car near Alamgarh bypass. All three occupants of the car managed to flee. A case was registered against Sultan Singh, Sanju Singh and Krishan Singh, all residents of Seed Farm Colony.
