The Border Security Force (BSF) found a packet of heroin weighing about 560 gm during patrolling at Gehle Wala village near the India-Pakistan border in Jalalabad area.

The recovery was made by the personnel deployed near the Tahliwala border outpost. The Jalalabad Sadar police was later informed in this regard by an Assistant Commandant of the BSF. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act against an unidentified person.

In another incident, the Sadar Police Station incharge in Jalalabad seized 10 gm heroin from Kalu Singh Kala of Sukhera Bodla village. The suspect was arrested under the NDPS Act.
