Sangrur: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) has confiscated 252 kg poppy husk and 4 kg opium and arrested two persons. “Rinku Singh and Harbhej Singh were arrested with contraband during the search of their truck at a naka on the Badrukhan-Ubhawal road on Thursday evening,” Sangrur CIA incharge Satnam Singh said. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
