The Canada police on Friday announced the arrest of an Indian shooter in the September 2 firing incident at the house of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon in Colwood.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang had taken the responsibility of firing shots at Dhillon’s house and setting two vehicles on fire. The Canadian police have not named the Bishnoi gang in the case so far.
West Shore RCMP officer Nancy Saggar said in a media release that the police had arrested Abjeet Kingra (25) of Winnipeg. “Abjeet Kingra has been charged with discharge of a firearm with intent and arson. Kingra was arrested in Ontario and will appear in an Ontario court,” she said.
Another shooter involved in the case has been identified as Vikram Sharma (23), last known to be residing in Winnipeg. An arrest warrant has been issued against him, but the police believe that he has fled to India.
The Bishnoi gang had issued a threat to Dhillon for allegedly sharing stage with Bollywood star Salman Khan.
