Punjab CM Mann targets Congress candidate, takes jibe at Sukhbir Badal

Jalandhar, July 6

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and party candidate Mohinder Bhagat, today held public meetings near Guru Ravidass Mandir at Basti Sheikh, New Dashmesh Nagar and Basti Bawa Khel in Ward Nos. 35, 41, 44 and 76 falling under the Jalandhar West constituency.

Targeting Congress candidate Surjit Kaur, the CM said if she couldn’t ensure development works in the area as a Deputy Mayor, she won’t be able to carry these out if she was elected an as MLA. Taking at jibe at SAD chief Sukhbir Badal, the Chief Minister said he was unable to keep his party together.

Addressing a public meeting, AAP MP Sanjay Singh lauded the development works carried out in the state under CM Bhagwant Mann.

Sanjay Singh attacked the BJP, Congress and the Akali Dal. He said criminals and mafias thrived during the Akali government. The Congress government did nothing for the development of Punjab in five years. The BJP did politics of caste, religion and hatred.
