Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was discharged from Fortis Hospital here on Sunday. He left in his official vehicle.

Earlier, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema visited the hospital to inquire into the wellbeing of the Chief Minister.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains accompanied Cheema to visit the CM.

Fortis Hospital's Director and Head of Department of Cardiology Dr R K Jaswal said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was discharged from the facility here at 2 pm.

All parameters and pathological tests of the Chief Minister were normal, following which he was discharged, Dr Jaswal added.

The 50-year-old AAP leader was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Wednesday for a routine check-up.

“At present, all vitals of the Chief Minister are completely stable. As suspected at the time of admission for tropical fever, his blood tests for leptospirosis came back positive,” according to a heath bulletin issued by the hospital on Saturday.
