The Delhi BJP on Thursday accused Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj of spreading misinformation regarding the prohibitory orders imposed in parts of New Delhi and Central Delhi.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva condemned Bhardwaj’s statements, asserting that the prohibitory orders were limited to specific areas and had no impact on Ramlila or temple gatherings. The prohibitory order remains in place until October 5 but is limited to certain roads and protest sites like Rajghat, with no effect on religious gatherings, the BJP stated.

“The prohibitory order was imposed in very small parts of New Delhi and central Delhi, and that too for just five days,” said Sachdeva. “Delhi Police did not place any restrictions on gatherings at Ramlilas or temples.”
