one-day capacity-building programme titled “Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies” was conducted at DAV Public School, Hardaspura, in Chamba under the auspices of the CBSE Regional Office, Panchkula.

The programme aimed to enhance teaching effectiveness by equipping educators with advanced teaching techniques and an in-depth understanding of learning outcomes.

CBSE subject expert Menka Gautam Gaur presided over the workshop.

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and principals Naseeb Thakur, Naresh Kumar Sharma, Madan and Ashok Kumar Guleria. In his opening remarks, school principal Ashok Kumar Guleria underscored the significance of innovation in education.

“Such programmes familiarise teachers with the latest methodologies, enabling them to impart knowledge more effectively and foster better learning outcomes,” he said.

He emphasised the importance of such initiatives in fostering professional growth among educators, and called for organising more such enriching programmes in the future. Gaur conducted various sessions, offering comprehensive insights into modern pedagogical practices and methods for assessing student performance. The programme included interactive workshops, group discussions, and Q&A sessions, providing a platform for teachers to share experiences and learn collaboratively.

The event witnessed the participation of educators representing several institutions — including Rising Star School, Chamba; DAV Public School, Surangani; DAV Public School, Bharmour; and Maharana Pratap School, Kangra.
